An example of using the Camera node


Let's look at how these keyframes would change the appearance of an image in the final output:

Adding in the units, this is a fielding of 6.00 frames West, 20× rotation, and 24" size.

This is the image we will use as input, exactly as it was scanned in. We also show its field chart, and an outline of the camera viewing it:

The E/W keyframe moves the camera 6.00 frames West on the image's field chart:

The Angle keyframe rotates the camera through 20× clockwise:

The Size keyframe moves the camera out so that its field of view is 24" wide (i.e. double the width of the 12 field chart above):

Looking at the above drawing from the camera (i.e. the output from the Camera node), this effectively halves the size of the image and its field chart:

It may help you to see the effect if we superimpose the node's input and output, both as seen from the camera's view:
